Summary: The first public school to achieve LEED Gold Certification, the design included a geothermal system of piping looped thru 120 wells, 550 feet deep to maintain a 55 degree glycol/water mix to 55 heat pumps distributed throughout the structure, as well as water saving plumbing fixtures and waterless urinals.
